Erika Girardi is probably best known as Erika Jayne after she adopted the alter ego professionally some time ago. Shocking to many, though, is that the 46-year-old actress, author, pop singer and television personality recently revealed on Instagram that, at one point, she was very close to quitting her adopted sexy persona, according to Bravo’s “The Daily Dish.”

Although, that was before she was hired in 2015 to appear as a recurring main cast member on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” beginning with the sixth season of the uber-popular reality TV series.

Of course, that’s most likely not the only thing the diva has to come clean about. And, now, fans have an opportunity to find out more juicy details about the flamboyant actress-singer, who’s been known for her highly provocative, often burlesquish choreographed music videos.

Jayne exploding onto the music scene in 2007 with “Rollercoaster,” which became the No. 1 single on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart, the first of many chart-topping hits for the singer.

Pretty Mess is Jayne’s no-holds-barred dishy memoir in which she exposes her heart, mind and soul. She unveils every detail of her life, including her rise to fame as an impassioned, fervent singer-dancer; her rather turbulent upbringing; and the ups and downs she’s experienced in her adult family life.

So if you think you intimately know Jayne from watching her life unfold weekly on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” think again. Pretty Mess reveals a much deeper side of Jayne, peeling back the many layers of this multifaceted, larger-than-life personality to reveal an extraordinary and inspiring story.
