Summertime is here, white is in season, and Andiron Steak & Sea is ready to celebrate. The popular contemporary steakhouse’s third annual White Party gets underway on Saturday, June 9, beginning at 7 p.m. The festivities will continue until midnight, with an open bar until 10 p.m. Party guests are encouraged to don their favorite all-white attire.
The Hamptons-inspired soiree will present an evening of socializing in elegant surroundings, accompanied by a variety of tantalizing foods and libations, and first-rate service. Featuring an array of bubbles, wine, cocktails, brews and frozen signature potations, guests can unwind from their week with a tasty drink while mingling and noshing on incredible food offerings, which include a build-your-own poke bar, ceviche, a tater tot bar, and carving and grill stations.

The White Party menu comprises passed avocado toast; tomato basil arancini beef sliders topped with aged cheddar and house pickles on brioche buns; and lobster summer rolls with cucumber, daikon, mint, basil and sweet chili. Other appetizers include heirloom tomatoes with Buffalo mozzarella, arugula, basil and balsamic; and seasonal crudités featuring hummus, tarragon ranch and Romesco.

The poke bar will feature ahi tuna, seaweed salad, pickled ginger, cucumber, spinach, shaved red onion, edamame and avocado sauces, which include spicy aioli, sweet soy and yuze aioli. Another seafood item is Baja shrimp ceviche with tomato, cilantro, lime, red onion and blue corn tortilla chips. The tater tot bar will provide topping offerings that include sour cream, scallions, aged cheddar, garlic aioli and smoked bacon bits.

But that’s not all … because what would a party be without some indulgent treats, and this one brings a variety. Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth at the decadent dessert station, which features a Pinkbox doughnut wall; made-to-order cotton candy; white-chocolate fountain with Oreo cookies, Rice Krispies treats and marshmallows, plus strawberries and pineapple for dipping; Andiron’s candy bars; and lemon-blueberry tarts.
No need to feel guilty about indulging, though, because you can work it all off dancing through the evening to DJ-provided music.
Andiron Steak & Sea, the creation of lauded Las Vegas restaurateur Elizabeth Blau and her husband, chef Kim Canteenwalla, offers a sophisticated flair in a pleasing and inviting neighborhood-restaurant setting in Downtown Summerlin.
Presenting their interpretation of a modern approach to the classic steakhouse, Andiron is the couple’s second dining hot spot — Honey Salt is the other — that they currently own and operate on the westside of Las Vegas. Offering a delectable blend of classic and contemporary, Andiron is “an homage to all things grilled, roasted, shucked and seared,” according to its owners.
