Thank you for stopping by, I am Leslie!

The editor of The Ecotist, a website that highlights people, places, and brands using their platforms for the greater good, fashionably.

Behold a work in progress, a masterpiece. She the master of her peace — capitain of her fate. Wisdom and beauty displayed in ribbons of gray. Day by day, step by step, she walks in faith, as she takes her place centerstage.”

After two decades working as an award-winning journalist and luxury lifestyle magazine editor, I packed up pmy collection of Louis Vuittons and Louboutins and moved to Sioux Falls, SD — during COVID — after getting married (lat(er) in life). Currently, I am pursuing my MA in creative writing at Wilkes University. I am a published poet and children’s book author. I am also a proud member of ISSP (International Society of Sustainability Professionals).

Currently, we split our time between Las Vegas, New York, and South Dakota. I continue to write about celebrities, entertainament, travel, fashion, food + wine, and sustainable lifestyle content for several print and online publications. I am open to writing opportunities!

When I am not studying or writing, I am a wanderlust. My favorite getaways include New York, Paris, Italy, and wine country — on any continent. During the summer months we spend most of our time riding our horses (Jake, Conrad, and London) with our Airedale Terrier, Izzy, in the Black Hills and Wyoming.
